At Acer Academy, we are proud to be a StepLab school. StepLab is an online professional development platform that supports teachers in continually improving their practice. It enables us to use research-based approaches to teaching and learning, providing staff with regular opportunities to practise, reflect, and refine their skills.

By using StepLab, our teachers take part in structured coaching cycles focused on specific teaching techniques proven to have the greatest impact on pupil learning. This means that professional development at Acer Academy is not a one-off event, but an ongoing process that helps ensure every lesson is as effective as possible.
